Asheville American Ninja Warrior Joins USAG Ninja Challenge
June 26, 2016
OSEGA’s own Miles Avery travels to the St. Louis Olympic Trials, Thursday, June 23, for the USA Gymnastics Ninja Challenge qualifiers and finals!
Avery boasts an impressive resume, with 4x olympic team coach and NCAA Honorary Lifetime Achievement coach highlighting his extensive accomplishments. At 56-years-old, Avery can also add oldest American Ninja Warrior City Final qualifier to his title.
If you still are not impressed, Avery personally coached half of the 2004 USA Silver Medal Olympic Team, including Paul Hamm, the first and only All-Around Gold Medal men’s gymnastics Olympic champion, in United States history.
The USA Gymnastics Ninja Challenge debuted June 3-5 in Hartford, Conn., at the P&G Men’s Gymnastics Championships and the women’s U.S. Secret Classic, and is moving to the St. Louis Union Station Hotel, this weekend, for the qualifying and final rounds.
Ninja Challenge qualifying rounds happen on June 24 and 25, in two hour sections that are open to spectators. Friday, June 24, sessions start at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 25, sessions take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. Finalists from the qualifiers compete at the Sunday, June 26, finals for the title of Ninja Challenge champion.
